Shane’s List of Domains at Auction for Wednesday, April 29th, 2026

We had a great discussion on effort and intent on DomainSherpa, which will be airing this Thursday. Drew brought up my favorite saying: “Outsmart the dumb and outwork the smart.” In my opinion, there has never been a better mantra. There will always be people who are smarter than you, but you have the ability to ensure that no one outworks you.

In today’s world of AI, this still comes into play, but the “work” you do now may involve setting up AI tools and agents to assist you. This means your output is “total work”,not just what you physically do, but everything you have configured to get work done for you. This doesn’t mean you sit back and let machines do everything, on the contrary, there is as much or more work than ever. Tools and processes need to be checked daily. Because your work is amplified, the foundation needs to be solid. I don’t believe work will ever be replaced, but you will be able to get more done with fewer people. You alone can now work like ten people, giving you a better chance to outwork someone else.

Outsmarting fits in as well, because integrating AI into your workflow is smarter than failing to do so. The key is knowing where you can add efficiencies. If you don’t know your workflow inside and out, you won’t know where to improve. That is where so many people make a mistake, they read about how AI can make them better, but they don’t know exactly how or where to implement it.

Jobs will be replaced, but new jobs will be created. The people who will stand through it all will be the outworkers and the outsmarters.

Quote of the Day: “Efficiency is doing things right; effectiveness is doing the right things.”Peter Drucker

Domain of the Day: RedParrot.com We’ve talked about this on Sherpa endless times. Color and major bird is a great brand
