Domain Spotlight:

Shane’s List of Domains at Auction for Wednesday, February 11th, 2026

The biggest bottleneck and weak point in AI right now is APIs.
Especially in domain investing.

You could already be managing your entire portfolio from your desktop if registrars exposed real, usable APIs. You would never need to log in. You could manage all tasks and changes from your own interface. You could do it with voice or simple prompts. You could instantly generate spreadsheets, reports, and clean data on every name you own.

All built with Claude.

But none of this really happens today because almost no registrars are willing to open things up. Honestly, I only see Dynadot even trying to give customers meaningful API access. And even then, theirs broke for us recently.

Companies are still not comfortable making powerful, customer-level APIs available for shopping and portfolio management.
Tech partners, yes.
Sales partners, yes.
End customers? So far, no.

That is the real friction.

But this is clearly where things are going.
Agentic shopping and agentic management are inevitable.

If everyone eventually just does everything from their own desktop agents, then what do domains even matter anymore?

I’ll save that for a later post, but I actually think it makes brands more important than ever.

In a world of massive choice and growing equality of tools, a recognizable brand becomes the only real signal that stands out.

Up only on domains.

Have a name at auction and need more exposure? Send me an email. We Charge $10 per name per day. We may be able to help. If you have an auction you want to promote, email us for details.* All names chosen by us. (ie you click through and purchase a name you like) or an occasional paid listing. Everything we say is based on our own research or is opinion. Do your own due diligence. That means look it up yourself if you don’t think the stats or our opinion is correct. We hand choose the names but we are paid to make this list by both the auction houses, individuals that are auctioning names, and Godaddy affiliate links. Keep that in mind and only buy names that YOU think are good.
