Domain Spotlight: Domain Shane’s Daily List of Domains at Auction for Wednesday, May 11th

I was sitting down going over some finances and realized I hadn’t bought or sold one domain in the last two weeks.  Not one.  It’s not that I haven’t been active in domain investing.  I’ve consciously  been trying to bring up the bank account to buy a bigger name so I’ve been a lot more careful in what I am buying. I’ve also been quoting high on my domain inquiries.  I pretty much do this day after day.  Look at the list, put in my bids, answer inquiries with prices.   But I haven’t gotten any of the names with my bids and nobody responds to my quotes and the next day comes.  To make a living at this I would need to be much more aggressive.  But because I have domain income coming in from this site and my other sites, I don’t really have to.   Long term I couldn’t make a living but short term I can go a few months without any sales.   But that’s if I had to pay the bills doing this.  I am fortunate I have a business to pay the bills and domain investment is “extra” income that gets rolled over.  But right now nothing is rolling over but me in my bed in the morning trying to come up with a reason not to get up and run.  Hopefully that changes in June.  Here are today’s names.    Click to see current prices  Life Care Planners are at peak with all the aging population.  Thus all the bids Lots of bidders think people actually buy these.  Must be in other countries.  I don’t see many around campus  We all agree its a good name.  OK maybe not everyone.  We mostly agree that its a good pastry  Great brand for any type of cleaning product or service.   A little past cheap though  I don’t know what privus means but there are quite a few things that share the name   Many people do.   But no bidders at $12    All Chinese here.  Tough western acronym still have good value.  Not quite four figures any more but could get close  Ditto for   No bidders at $12.   Good brand.  Even if the two words don’t go together  If you sell swimming stuff this name would serve you well.  No bidders at $12    I wish someone would hack my sisters account and keep her Facebook posting to once or twice a day.     2K visits a day, the domain, not my sister’s Facebook site    Good marketing name if this is what you sell    My algorithm,  Algo also means “something in Spanish.  Only $20    $110 over under,,,    a few nice  if you’re still buying.

Top.Dog     I actually like this one.  Because it works.  One of the few Gs on my list    One of the rounder you can own  One of the top visited cities in France.  Price is cheaper than a ticket to visit.  3 days left

FOR OTHER GREAT NAMES FOR SALE MAKE SURE TO VISIT CAX.COM   I have a bet that it will end up under $2.5 million.   Great name but that price is doable but would be a private negotiation, not an auction price.  I hope for my friends at Namejet that I am wrong   First Medical something something.   65 bids  Three Ws for the price of one.  And that price is over $2K   Good diet or training plan name.   Everyone wants to be slim or fit   The entire Internet advertising plan is built around work at home and Outbrain bottom ads.  This name covers the work at home part.  3 bidders    You know I say all vegan names are worth something.   This was rounds them all up in one place online  One of the better LLLL.nets you can own  A CHiP.  Anyone use that term anymore.   I will until they get under $1000 and then I’ll call it a CHiLL   Chinese Like it a Little   Yet another great and   Two very nice 5N.coms.   I still think they are assets

Have a name at auction and need more exposure? Send me an email. I Charge $10 per name per day. We may be able to help. If you have an auction you want to promote, email us for details.*All names chosen by me, Shane . (ie you click through and purchase a name you like) or an occasional paid listing. Everything I say is based on my own research or is opinion. Do your own due diligence. That means look it up yourself if you don’t think the stats or my opinion is correct. I hand choose my names but I am paid to make this list by both the auction houses, individuals that are auctioning names, and Godaddy affiliate links. Keep that in mind and only buy names that YOU think are good

  1. Great intro paragraph today. Glad I decided to read this even though I missed most of the auctions already.

I DO rely on domain sales to pay bills and the past 4 weeks have been brutal for me. I have to consider lowering prices and just liquidating what I can just to make it to the next few big sales.

I think I sold too much good inventory back in Jan and Feb without replenishing my inventory.

I don’t know – all I know is April has been a 1 way street as far as my domain funds go.

Gotta work on my side hustles for months like these.

    1. Bobby,

You have to have inventory to sell. It’s the basics of business. You sell a service or product at a profit in order to pay the bills. Can’t sell from an empty cart or a cart full of junk. I hope things get going for you soon.
