DomainShane’s BIG LIST of Domain Name Auction Picks: Thursday, September 24th, 2015

Escrow.com

Finally sold a name this week.  I have to admit I haven’t sold a name in a month.  I am acquiring names because good one word and short domains are becoming harder and harder to buy.  Moving so fast that when I sell a name I start looking for inventory replacement but in the weeks or months the new names move up another 10%.  I chased some LLLL.coms from $1000 to $3000 this summer.  So I’m just waiting. Waiting until I get a very good price for the names.  And a decent price for my fringe names.  I sold a fringe name but it paid for a few of the LLLL.coms I purchased recently.  A trade up I’d love to make all the time.  Hoping I sell a few more this fall.   Here are today’s names. Click for current prices

SavingIsEasy.com  16 years old.  It’s not but would still make a nice marketing name.  No bidders. $12

YoungSurfers.com 16 years old. No bidders.   Solid name for a summer camp or surf lessons for kids

DWYT.com   Something something Young Thing.    I listened to a lot of Michael Jackson in the early 80s

Blogga.com    Worth a whole lot more than the $100 current bid IMO

DailySeven.com  Not saying its worth a lot but no bidders and for $12 you can afford to wait until someone starts something called the daily seven

Daily7.com   Just in case you buy the above you should probably pick this one up as well.  No bidders

DDQD.com   Doing better than I expected.  Then again, all the collectible LLLL.com are doing well now

255666.com  You should want to own all triple repeating at the end 5N and 6N.coms   They are gold Jerry, Gold

JIDD.com People are going to pretend like its pronounceable but its really just a good LLLL.com

123125.com  Nice pattern and under $300

888179.com  Triple 8 on either side is a good thing

VR6.com  Virtual Reality is as hot as it gets.  And so are CCC.coms   Already has a nice bid

LSN.cc  When an LLL.cc gets to these prices you have to start paying attention

FQGF.com  Again, all rules of pricing are thrown out the window.  Anyone who tells you different is selling you something

XKXD.com going to cross $2K IMO.   Makes a great brand on its own without being an acronym.

9MH.com   Getting lots of love.  Much higher than the average price of NLL.coms which always catches my eye

Find more Godaddy Auction names HERE. I don’t list them ALL

HJME.com   My first listing from a Namepros auction.  Pretty sure they’ll be more after seeing the names that are starting to come through.  Under $200 at press time

InsiderPicks.com  A website claiming to make $300 a month.  I like the name by itself.  Although we all know they aren’t insiders picking

LK1.com Another short CCC.com Bottom price has been $1K on these

LawyerGuide.com   Its one of those names that has the value tied up in a buildout.  That’s where the real money is

Won.me  At $50 at press time

GOLU.com   Met reserve.  At the nice round price of $2222

CKAF.com  Reserve met at under $200.   F for Federation

HIVandSingle.com   Certainly a niche product but the site is making money and has 19,000 members

FOR OTHER GREAT NAMES FOR SALE MAKE SURE TO VISIT CAX.COM

PrimeTap.com   Ale House or tech company.  Works for anything

UWY.com  Don’t want to miss out on a LLL.com

NBNN.com One of the few 3 of 4 matching letter LLLL.com that could still easily be an acronym.

K-S.com   Throw in a dash, save $500K to a million dollars

Dream.xyz   I’m smart enough to watch and see how the .xyz auctions go.  I watch any extension that is selling.  Although I haven’t bought any at auction

WorldX.com  I’m not sure who is going to want this but then again there are a lot of names I sell that aren’t who I thought would buy it.
