Domain Shane’s List of Domains at Auction for Sunday, January 24th

Escrow.com

I wonder if Godaddy realizes how much money they are losing by having such a poor bulk search tool.  People are searching patterns by the thousands and yet they cap it at 500.   I can’t tell you how many error messages I get.  Everyone has moved over to Uniregistry’s bulk search because it is so much better. Godaddy can give you the dessert of a new app but Uniregistry is eating their lunch with the layout and functionality of their site.  Thank goodness Godaddy has awesome auctions and great prices to make up for some of their flaws.  Here are today’s domains.  Click to see current prices.

09981.com   Start the day off with a nice 5N.com  8s and double numbers.  Under $400 at press time

87354.com   Another 5N.com  It will be interesting to see if this one or the name above finish higher.  I think the double 9 keeps that one higher

ELWS.com   19 years old and great English Letters

GreatSeat.com   The plural would be worth four or five figures.  This one has one bid at $12

BHGT.com  The kind of LLLL.com that is killing it right now.  CHiPestern name

XIYA.com  Officially a five figure domain name.   I may be a bidder.  Just don’t know what exactly I’m bidding on.  But I’m not going to let that stop me

06360.com   Nice pattern.  I like memorable numerics, regardless of what the numbers are.  This one fits the bill

11719.com  Not as good of a pattern but great numbers so will do much much better.  The Red Reserve Ribbon has held the price back until the last day.  People shy away from that like Christian Bale when he’s drunk

55130.com   This should easily cross 5K.  The zeros at the end are not bad.  The price tells you that

LessThanHalf.com  Certainly memorable.  And I know that someone else has the majority share

GameFlip.com Has no bidders at $12.  Sounds like a pretty good used game site name

MWG.biz  LLL and NNN dot biz have been a good investment lately

NBC40.net  600 plus backlinks and a PR5 have this over $600

ZPC.co  Hard to argue about the price improvement of LLL.cos

A nice list of LLLL.nets today as well

NJDP.net, SRKP.net, DJWZ.net, and YTNP.net

I think these will all be three figure names soon if they are not already. Opinion only.  You could lose your money and be forced to work for NameBio and get the job staying up all night trying to make sure their post is posted one minute before mine.

KL85.com, KT92, KL97 ,KL25, KL26, KL31, and KL37

YPRP.com  Not getting much love but a solid LLLL.com

440988.com  The 88 is enough to get most people’s attention

880144.com   Almost the same named flipped.  Lesson on how 88 at the end is worth more than the beginning.  We get to see how much

880104.com  And another to compare if the extra zero makes a difference in price. We’re learning here fellas

UIC.cc   Even vowel LLL.cc are three figures now

And a few more zero and 8 6N.coms to add to your portfolio

880047.com, 444078, 440288, 602400, and  766102

420500.com   420 baby. Smoke ’em if you got em.

318068.com  Any 6N.com that ends in 8 is worth $25 or more.. In my opinion

234033.com   Not bad for $20

DJMM.com   I Lovee Dj MM.  I think he was playing at Hakkkkassssan when I was there.

Special Domain Shane ONLY Coupon…….. CODE IS DDCDS2015 – Good 30% off Discount Domain Club to get the lowest renewal prices Godaddy offers (DDC)

CCFB.com   Over $2K and will sell.  Everyone loves the repeating C.   Maybe not the China doomsday

Drink.cc  One bid and reserve met.  Keywords have generally never sold well in dot cc

44s.com  Getting a great bid.  3 of them actually

8H.io  Only 260 of these.  Only 26 with the 8.   You can see why I got high Bs in Math

MoneyMakers.com  Pretty sure that’s a local strip joint.  It might be the car wash. I get them confused.  I save my quarters for both of those places

NRKF.com  Pronounced “Neckerchief”…..Chip

JRKN.com  Pronounced “Jerkin’ ”  Seller should be happy…..but their not

CPR.info   One of the better dot info lately.  Perfect for a dot info. Lifesaving techniques ahead

FOR OTHER GREAT NAMES FOR SALE MAKE SURE TO VISIT CAX.COM

VKM.com  When you have a three letter dot com, all letters are pretty

DomesticPartnership.com   Gay marriage.  Or marriage of convenience

Blonde.com  Amazing name but reserve is several hundred thousand

CollegeScholar.com  Scholarship or online education. Both huge CPC

BDSD.com  Alternating Ds and a CHiPestern name.   Will do very well.  I hope first enjoys his new name

Douches.com  The jokes are too easy so I’ll leave it alone

Begs.com  I ‘aint too proud to

DJF.net, DRT.net, CJF.net , QQH.net   But surprisingly, none start with Z.  Maybe tomorrow. Still some good ones there

LiveVideoStreaming.com  Obvious use but Periscope is easier to type

Lavic.com   A 5L.com that is people, places, and things

48S.com   Nice CCC.com  And 48 means “awesome” in Chinese.  Actually not true

ShoulderSurgery.com  I may have it.  But I guess it doesn’t mean its a good domain name

NCAttorney.com   Big Google results and we all know law names pay well

HomeInvestors.org  Pretty big keywords.  It could work in dot org.

      1. Shane, I like reading your post. I stop by here & there. You are funny, when you give critiques for each dn; sometimes i can’t help giggling while reading. I’m a newbies, and still trying to figure out the domain name industry. Sooner or later, I will be a member here. Just give me some time to know this domain world. Thanks.

  1. Good point, Shane, on the GoDaddy bulk search. I started a NamePros thread a few weeks ago highlighting additional issues with GD’s bulk search tools.

Joe Styler said he’d look into it. I’m a GoDaddy customer but I’m a very reluctant one due to their formatting deficiencies and the non-functionality of their backend for domainers. They recently made some long over due formatting changes on their auction site so I’m hopeful for further future improvements in other areas. Meanwhile, as you say, they could be rapidly losing market share.
