Domain Shane’s Daily List of Domains at Auction for Friday October 2nd, 2020

I grew up in a family that had no boundaries. They made their home in Central Illinois but they made their excitement all over the world. My Grandfather was a great WWII pilot and continued to fly throughout his life. He was known to fly to Europe to get a matching dish that my Grandmother had dropped. Or so is the story. He was the only nurseryman I knew that had a Gull Winged Mercedes and a 1932 Rolls Royce. My Dad’s cousin was a sailor. Not many sailors in the middle of central Illinois but he certainly was. Quen Cultra built a trimaran in his back yard. Had he built a boat before? Nope. Did he build it? Yep. And then he hauled it to the Illinois River which he followed to the ocean at which he sailed around the whole damn world. Yes. For three years he sailed around the world and wrote a book about it. It was called Quee Queg’s Odyssee and for a young kid like me was amazing.

My family was full of adventure but none bigger than Quen. Quen died at the horn of Africa when a cyclone met a typhoon and capsized his boat, sweeping him into the ocean. Never to be found again. Google his name and you can read all about it. Or read this nice tribute to see how people thought of Quen. My grandfather and Quen prove it is not where you come from, its where you’re going that matters. It’s probably one of the reasons I’ve lived the way I do. I never thought living in a small town and a simple life meant you couldn’t do anything you wanted to do, anywhere you wanted to do it. And yes, my Grandfather sold the Gull Wing and the Mercedes. But not before he crashed one of them.

Quote of the Day:

Domain of the Day: It’s where we have to start Names at Auction or Available for Pickup Keywords that have done well in all the other tlds Last chance to get this nut The password of millions of gamers Nice one word dot co Another keyword that is taken in pretty much every other tld

Namejet and Sedo & More Domains at Action End is C which means its going to do better than most LLLL.coms I think someone named Jim has a higher chance of buying it. No reserve Especially formulated for Her. Also known as wine We have some people getting close Deleting. Need to put in a bid at all the places that could catch it Met a reserve I thought it had zero chance making Evidently there’s some premium to triple repeaters in dot co

Godaddy Domains With Bids I know their smart, not sure about creative Ahhhh feels good to have the 5Ns at the top of the charts like the good old days You’re going to need some help getting them back if it goes wrong “Come to the A team” The keywords people are looking for when starting a blog about the coin “Appeal” in Portuguese . Has a lot of personality Coin names are prevalent today Sounds like an IPA or a College newspaper Doesn’t go real well with the dot org but its a great word Because you know someone is going to make it A little tougher to use Sick right now so buy low Nice marketing name. Memorable and descriptive. All about the journey Mencentric clothing and gear. Love it. Can we still do that? Sounds like a subsidiary of Prestige Worldwide

  1. Thanks for sharing the stories about your grandfather and your dad’s cousin Quen! That was a fine tribute that Dennis Marek wrote for Quen. “He (Quen) talked of adventure and trying daring things. I was somewhere between fascinated and terrified. He made me think new thoughts and new adventures…” 🙂
