Domain Shane’s Daily List of Domains at Auction for Thursday September 10th, 2020

I gave a fireside chat at NamesCon with Bill Sweetman and thought it went pretty well. It’s pretty easy for me to talk about the journey because I did a pretty good job of documenting it. I can remember how excited I was when I made $50 and the excitement of my first $1000 sale. All the way up to the first $100K sale. I can tell the story because its all clear as day in my head and most likely on a blog somewhere. It’s not been a quick journey. It’s taken over a decade with EVERY SINGLE NIGHT being used to learn and get better. It wasn’t a straight path. I had people be complete asses to me along the way and even to this present day. I give them grace but I remember who they are. Not to get back at them but to remind me that the better you do, the more people like to knock you down thinking it will make them higher.

We had the Domain Investing fantasy football draft last night. Some great people in the league and fun to talk about something other than domains for a second. My first pick was Lamar Jackson. I normally don’t take QBs first round but I had the last pick of the round at 12 and I figured I would get the most exciting player in football so I could watch him every week. We’ll see how it goes. It has to be better than last year’s last place finish. And because the draft last night the list is a little short

Quote of the Day:Sometimes, giving someone a second chance is like giving them an extra bullet for their gun because they missed you the first time

Domain of the Day: Could hit $50K. Many I love NNNN.coms. Wish I had more. I mean one Names at Auction or Available for Pickup Generic for what honey does. But that’s probably more considered a coupon code Gold name. Just a little less than average We still doing shortners?

Namejet and Sedo & More Domains at Action No reserve. 17 years old. sold for $65K No reserve name. Good name for a video site with magic tricks and tips

Godaddy Domains With Bids Speaking of Chinese. Another name that I don’t know what it means but still its approaching 5 figures Popular Croatian last name Ironically going to be used as a marketing name. Will probably have another “Real” name like Robertson Marketing Remember when people were members at tennis and racquetball clubs. I was. I was in the B tier Two first names always make a nice brand IMO Online marketing course all the way No such thing Used to like the show but going to a store called Walton’s typo of video but still a cool brand Color + Animal Media names still sell. All about getting a good price and building a portfolio I see this as a solar name. But I see all names as solar names If you have a bonsai site, here’s some juice to pass on

For all the names at the NamesCon auction I’ll give my live analysis at the auction itself as part of the Domain Sherpa live auction show

Godaddy Names With One or NO Bids

The Rest of the Godaddy Names With Bids

  1. Shane, it was an absolute pleasure speaking with you. I wish we could have had an hour to talk and not 30 minutes because there was so much more we could discuss, and I had a ton more questions for you. Perhaps we’ll get to do a sequel at an in-person NamesCon in the future. Thanks so much for participating and being a gracious guest.
