Boy did my opinion change quickly. I went from hating crypto, to liking it, to hating it in weeks. I don’t know what I was thinking. Crypto is a TERRIBLE hold of value. It swings way too much in both directions. I also learned there is no way I am patient enough to wait for it to double or triple or go 5 times that. I could use that money to invest in things like domains and trade stocks and do much better than crypto with the same amount of risk. In short, I am talented enough to get better returns than crypto. Two, it is definitely in the hands of the Chinese. So much of the mining is done in China right now and they are actively buying. Three, the Winkelvosses. That’s your big holders and your cheerleaders. I don’t put my money in those guys.
I was fortunate enough to get out before it dropped and didn’t lose anything but my fees at Coinbase. I had forgotten why Coinbase is awful. Their fees are ridiculous. And to make it worse, they think they double credited me a sale (they didn’t) and they want me to refund the account so they can give me TRON tokens. Coins that are down 30%. Working with them was a nightmare and definitely a place for Noobs which I was. I believe in blockchain, new efficient ways to guarantee transactions and contracts. But it needs to be much safer and stable than the current coins.
On a side note. I will speaking today at NamesCon. I am going to let it fly today. They may not ask me to be back again. Just kidding. The usual stuff but I’ll try and make it interesting. 1pm center.
